How to Find Your Newcastle Hats Fit

 

Buying a Newcastle Hat is a moment worth getting right, and it starts with choosing the correct size. Here’s a quick and easy guide to measuring your head at home.

What You’ll Need:

A flexible measuring tape.
No tape? Use a piece of string plus a ruler.

Step 1: Measure Where the Hat Will Sit

Wrap the tape around your head where the hat sits – just above your ears and about a fingers width above your eyebrows. Keep the tape snug, not tight.

Step 2: Record Your Size

Record the measurement in centimetres. If using string, mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler.

Step 3: Choose the Right Size

  • Small: 54–55 cm
  • Medium: 56–57 cm
  • Large: 58–59 cm
  • Extra Large: 60–61 cm
  • Extra Extra Large: 62–63 cm
  • Extra Extra Extra Large: 64–65 cm

If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort. Many hats will gently shape to your head with wear, and heat or perspiration can make them feel a touch firmer over time. A slightly looser starting fit is ideal.
